One important way that Kiwanis clubs serve their communities is by sponsoring similar service organizations for young people. These clubs are student-led and members participate in electing their own officers, fundraising for causes and carrying out meaningdul service projects. These activities develop their character and prepare them for a purposeful life.
Circle K was started in Pullman, Washington and was formally organized as a service club in 1947. Circle K’ers are committed to leadership and service.
Key Club was first organized in 1925 and is the oldest Kiwanis youth sponsored program. More than 2 million youth have enrolled in Key Club since its inception. Our club is proud to sponsor a Key Club at the Ursuline School, Yonkers High School and Riverside High School.
Builders Club was launched in 1975 after middle school and junior high students started showing an interest in organizing to serve their home, school and community.
