Meet the Volunteers

Welcome to East Yonkers Kiwanis where people from all walks of life have been serving the needs of our community since 1956.

Necessity being the mother of invention we have had to find new ways to meet and perform community service.

Covid-19 will not stop us! 

We had to cancel our Nurse Appreciation and Awards Dinner. Instead, on April 9, we had catered over 100 lunches for all the safety and housekeeping staff at both St. Joseph’s and St. John’s Riverside hospitals as well as the nurses’ station at Regency Extended Care Center.

We have been meeting online, including the election of next year’s officers and board. And finally, we are encouraging Yonkers High School Seniors to apply for our Scholarship.

Let’s keep an open mind and a positive attitude.
May our best days be in front of us yet!
